Kawthoolei Institute is created to be a platform where a wide range of ideas are exchanged, enriching literature on Kawthoolei in particular and humanity as a whole while letting the national spirit bloom.
Kawthoolei Institute stands to be independent, sound, and authentic that promotes unconventional thinking toward liberty, virtue, and progress of Kawthoolei Nation.
The three principles that KI stands for are the following:
"independent" refers to KI not being under the influence of an organization or a certain ideology. Although the contributors may have certain conviction, such outlook will not be interfered by editorship.
"sound" refers to claims that are supported by reasons, facts, or logic. KI strives to promote decency, mutual respect, and constructive engagement, therefore views that are purely emotionally charged and appear toxic will be discouraged. Ideas that may not be popular but sound will still be published in KI.
"authentic" means owning our narrative and presenting our rationale, and promoting original voices of the writers whose views are not necessary to retrofit into prevailing views.
